Latin America’s survey respondents for the 2023 Global Meetings and Events Forecast were generally in agreement about their expectations of where the industry is headed, but a few questions accent some regional differences. As well as a few key statistics.

Consistent with previous year’s Forecasts, meeting professionals in Latin America are feeling extremely positive about what 2023 will bring. Respondents in the region had the highest levels of optimism about the health of the industry: 90% said they would rank themselves an eight or higher on a scale of one to ten measuring optimism levels. And 82% said their career options are good to excellent, also the highest percentage of all regions surveyed. Respondents in the region anticipate 89% of meetings will have an in-person component – a 13% jump compared to 76% predicted for 2022.
