London – January 26, 2022 – American Express Global Business Travel (GBT), the world’s leading B2B travel platform, has been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s new procurement framework RM6217 (Lot 3) for provision of a booking solution and specialist needs, which will be available to central government departments and the wider public sector.
The solution includes the provision of air, rail, hotel and ground transportation as well as crisis management services such as emergency group accommodation, repatriation and medical evacuation, while providing passenger tracking support.
Following a full tender evaluation, GBT was ranked first for Lot 3. The service will be delivered through GBT’s unique Government proprietary technology solution that allows data to be stored in the UK, as well as via experienced offline consultants who are solely dedicated to support the specialist requirements of Government travellers.
