Singapore, March 2, 2017 – American Express Global Business Travel today announced the appointment of Sanghamitra Bose to the position of General Manager, Singapore. In this role, Sanghamitra will be responsible for setting American Express GBT’s strategic direction in Singapore, and overseeing the commercial operations. Previously, Sanghamitra was Director, Global Client Group, American Express GBT, whereby she oversaw the client management teams in Asia Pacific (APAC) for the company’s largest multinational clients.

Sanghamitra has a wealth of local and international leadership experience, gained primarily through overseeing multinational client-facing teams and business development roles. She has proven expertise in growing multi-country business relationships across APAC. She joined American Express Company in 2003 within the Global Corporate Payments business division. She then moved to Singapore with American Express GBT, and she ultimately became responsible leading the global client relationship team across APAC.

Prior to joining American Express Company, Sanghamitra worked in leading hospitality organisations like Taj Hotels, and Intercontinental Hotel Group, for several years in leadership roles.
