London, 10 September, 2019 – American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has appointed Johan Wilson as its new Vice President and General Manager for the Nordics. He takes up the position on September 23.
In this role, Wilson will oversee GBT’s Nordic business and be responsible for performance, growth, development strategies and customer relationships across the region. He will report to Jason Geall, Vice President and General Manager, Northern Europe.
Before joining GBT, Wilson spent more than 10 years in senior and leadership roles at CWT, including Vice President, Nordic Region, and most recently Vice President and Country Director for UK & Ireland. Prior to his time at CWT, Wilson held a number of commercial and strategic roles within the American Express financial services business.
