American Express Global Business Travel Proves Preferred Choice Among Top 100 Companies, Based on Corporate Travel Volume
NEW YORK, NY, October 8, 2014 – American Express Global Business Travel (“GBT”) is pleased to share that it ranked first among corporate travel providers in the recently announced 2014 Corporate Travel 100 (“CT100”), an annual listing compiled by Business Travel News which looks at companies with the largest volume of air bookings. Spanning a variety of industries, 37 GBT clients were named to the CT100 list with three listed in the top ten, more than any other travel management company.

Companies were selected for the CT100 list based on 2013 air tickets purchased for domestic or international business travel at all U.S. points of sale. Most listed organizations provided at least some information to Business Travel News for use in their specific listings. Respondent organizations completed an online questionnaire and some provided additional information in interviews. For organizations that did not participate, Business Travel News used industry sources, published reports and other intelligence.
