Established in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft, Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines is a 4-star airline today with a fleet of 329 (passenger and cargo) aircraft flying to 307 worldwide destinations in 122 countries. It had new openings these past few months in Moroni, Samarkand, and Freetown.
According to the 2017 Skytrax survey, Turkish Airlines, already receiving the “Best Airline in Europe” award between 2011-2016, has now been chosen as the “Best Airline in Southern Europe” for the ninth consecutive time. Turkish Airlines has also picked up the following four awards at the 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards: “Best Business Class Onboard Catering”, “World’s Best Business Class Lounge”, and “Best Business Class Dining Lounge”.
Currently Turkish Airlines flies to 9 countries and 17 cities in the Americas
Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston, San Francisco, Miami, Atlanta, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Montreal, Bogota, Panama and Caracas.
